Reflection. Rhythm. Lyrics that are yours.
Reframe is a creative system that turns structured self-reflection into uplifting rap lyrics. It begins with guided prompts based on your life experiences—both challenging and affirming—and ends with music-ready language: hooks, verses, complete songs. Each Reframe comes with an original beat so you can hear your words in rhythm. This isn't therapy. It isn't diagnosis. It's a grounded way to process experience through music and turn reflection into something you can own.How It Works1. Reflect
Answer guided prompts based on ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and PCE (Positive Childhood Experiences) frameworks. These research-based tools help us ask meaningful questions about challenge and resilience—without clinical language or invasive detail.2. Generate
Reframe translates your responses into original rap lyrics—anchor lines, hooks, verses, or full songs. The output is designed to be sayable, singable, and ready to perform in your own voice.
3. Own It
Your lyrics belong to you. Write with them. Perform them. Record them. Share them. They're yours to use however you want. Each Reframe also includes an original beat from St. Paul Beats so you can hear your words in context—rhythm, pacing, tone. Our Principles
Reframe is built on three core commitments:Containment over confession
We don't ask for graphic details or invasive disclosure. Prompts are structured to guide reflection without requiring you to relive trauma or share more than you're comfortable with.Craft over catharsis
Musicality and structure matter. Reframe creates lyrics that work as music—not just emotional release, but language shaped for rhythm, flow, and performance.Agency over interpretation
The words belong to you. We don't diagnose, label, or analyze. You decide what your story means and how you want to express it.What Reframe Is (and Isn't)
Reframe is:-A creative tool for self-expression through music-Built on evidence-based reflection frameworks-Designed to generate music-ready lyrics you own-Grounded in containment, craft, and agencyReframe is not:-Therapy or mental health treatment-A diagnostic assessment-A substitute for professional support-Clinical or extractiveIf you need mental health support, we encourage you to reach out to a qualified professional or trusted person.Reframe is for creative expression—not clinical intervention. Why ACEs and PCEs?Reframe uses two research frameworks to guide reflection:ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) help us ask about challenges—early life difficulties that may have shaped how you see yourself and navigate the world. We use ACE-informed prompts not to diagnose or score you, but to create space for honest reflection without graphic detail.PCEs (Positive Childhood Experiences) focus on strength—the protective, affirming experiences that build resilience. Things like support, belonging, safety, and connection. PCEs help identify what held you up.By using both frameworks together, we create prompts that reflect the fullness of experience: weight and light, hardship and hope. Real stories aren't one-dimensional, and neither are the lyrics Reframe creates. The MusicEvery Reframe includes an original beat created by St. Paul Beats. The beat is there so you can hear your lyrics in rhythm—to feel how the words land, how they flow, how they sound when they move. You own the lyrics. The beat is provided for personal use: listening, writing, practicing, sharing with friends, or posting clips online. If you want to release your song commercially—on streaming platforms, as a recording for sale, or for other commercial purposes—you can license the beat.We offer flexible options, including non-exclusive and exclusive licenses (when available). There's no obligation to license.
Create first.
Decide later.Who We Are
Reframe was created to give people a structured, creative way to shape their stories into language they can own—without clinical framing, without extraction, without judgment. We believe expression is a form of power. We use music because rhythm carries meaning differently than prose. We use research frameworks because structure creates safety. And we put the words in your hands because agency is the point. This is not about fixing, diagnosing or labeling.
It's about shaping meaning into something clear, grounded, and yours.Questions?
